Share Distribution
This is taking way longer than I expected as I am doing it manually but I am steady updating so I will post the link so you can watch as I update. I am hoping to finish tomorrow night.

Thank you veryvery much for the link. I see that you have a LNL conversion of 1:0.5772 and an LCA conversion of 1:0.9672. I do so find that to be quite generous given the levels they were traded at. (I'm assuming that LNLF will be roughly 1:1.)

Re: Share Distribution
Hmmm, I will need to plug the numbers again. They shouldn't be that high actually. I am going over them again tonight. Tuesday and Thursday are my late days in the office but I have a bit of time tonight to go over things. I am going with ServMe's idea to convert at a decimal rather than a whole number and retire the excess.
Re: Share Distribution
Hi Linsday,
three things:
-The first,is that the shares you were in debt to me arrived.So it's ok
-The second,in the sheet of conversion I didn't see any conversion of share of liquidation fund.Why?
-The thirth,is that I think that brokerage in your site won't be a good idea.
You know there it will be a total lack of liquidity.
I think that ISE could be the better choice:it is quite illiquid,but he has a very good reputation.better the Capex
Bye

Re: Share Distribution
Well YAY on the first thing. I was about to start putting fire under asses. Second, those numbers had not been plugged in yet because I am trying to figure out what I did wrong in the equation for the others. I do not plan to list on the brokerage for that very reason but I am still weighing options. I want to have to conversion list in it entirety before presenting to ISE which seem to be the best choice right now.

It might be helpful if we knew the conversion ratios that you have in mind. I know that I'm so willing to help out in that area. If you still need to keep the numbers under wraps for some reason, that would be understandable. I'm just merely offering my assistance. Yum!

Re: Share Distribution
The numbers are the same ones that were posted in the CapEx forums. I will post them shortly.
Re: Share Distribution
LNLF = 2/1
LLL = 1/1
LCA = 3/1
LNL = 4/1
LCA outstanding = 2/1
LNL outstanding = 2/1
This was the original conversion based on 1.56 share price but ServMe suggested evaluating as the decimal instead of a whole number and destroying the excess shares above the whole number.
LNLF = 1/1L
LLL = 1/1.56L
LCA = 1/.62L
LNL = 1/.37L
LCA and LNL Debt = 1/1L
The equation I used was:
shares X share price X 1.56
Clearly I am missing something here.
LLL = 1/1
LCA = 3/1
LNL = 4/1
LCA outstanding = 2/1
LNL outstanding = 2/1
This was the original conversion based on 1.56 share price but ServMe suggested evaluating as the decimal instead of a whole number and destroying the excess shares above the whole number.

shares X share price X 1.56

Re: Share Distribution
Darling, perhaps the best way is to first convert all the shares to value of LNLF, multiplying each share going into LLC by the value compared to LNLF. Afterwards, divide by 1.56 to get the number of shares of LLC. This will equate 1 LLL with 1 LLC, which is what I presume you are so wanting.
This would then make the ratios approximately:
1 LLL -> 1 LLC
1 LNLF or debt share -> 0.62 LLC
1 LCA -> 0.40 LLC
1 LNL -> 0.24 LLC
Hope this helps. Yum!

Re: Share Distribution
Ok question. Why are you converting to the value of LNLF if the price of LLL was the basis?
Re: Share Distribution
I am recommending going to the LNLF basis first as the conversion figures listed are based on a delicious L$1 value for the liquidation fund. Certainly the basis can be LLL, but that would mean a different set of ratios which go more decimal places (more than my rounded values). I feel that it's so less messy this way, saving the naughty division for last. This is of course assuming that your ratio values are not rounded as well.

Re: Share Distribution
As soon as we narrow down the conversion. Anastasia brought up a good point. I have a match tonight but I will work on the the conversion based on those numbers.
Re: Share Distribution
No. My apologizes. I have had midterms and the Regents test over the last week and it has been quite tedious. I will be out of town on the 11th for midterms in Statesboro, and I had hoped to finish last night but Comcast was out in my area and my cellular connection kept dropping me. As I had stated previous, from June - September was an extremely busy time for me. Half the time I am in SL, I am afk and various other things. I am terribly behind but I expect to be caught up and have decided on an exchange by month end. I am also working on an SLCC project with a business that has been tedious as well.
Re: Share Distribution
My offer to help out in anyway that I can still stands. I could for example set up the spreadsheets needed. Do feel free to contact me about anything that could help relieve some of your stress.

Re: Share Distribution
The link to the spreadsheet is still active. I could add you as a contributor to it to correct the formulas. I have the bare numbers on an excel spreadsheet but they need to be converted and compiled with what is already there.

Splendid! Feel free to e-mail me said spreadsheet. I've added the link to my yummy e-mail address in my profile. I can work on it this weekend.

Re: Share Distribution
Lindsay,
From reading your forum I have no idea what plans you have for L&L, do you?
Over 1 month ago I made what I consider a fair offer for LCA, you declined this offer despite being only minority shareholder.
Could you please explain in detail what you have proposed for L&L.

Re: Share Distribution
What is the timeline for the completion of the Share Distribution?
It's almost 6 months since it started. Can it be done by 31st Dec 2008?
If you are going to list LLC on one of the existing stock exchange, I would vote for http://www.intlstockexchange.com/

Re: Share Distribution
Total Shares Float before audit = 11,160,044 shares of LLC (DCI - more information coming soon)
Audit consists of removing shares of certain officers and reducing treasury shares. I expect the float to be around 8 million shares but I may get lower than that.
Stay tuned....

Re: Share Distribution
Conversion is 85% complete. I have to finish adding the bank balances and alphabetize the list, check for duplicates, and do the final audit. I should be done tomorrow evening.
Re: Share Distribution
99%, yes. It is taking me forever to convert Brokerage shares so what I am going to do is release the conversion without those shares included and amend the list later. No need in me holding up the entire process for about 15-20 people. I will release the entire list tonight. RL takes me out during the day.
