Shareholder Meetings
I will post the time that I am available for a meetings. If I can get at least 10 people to commit to be there, we can have the meeting but a meeting with 2 or 3 people doesn't seem to be fruitful to me as the asychronous enviroment seems to work best. I have a slower week coming up but then will be bombarded until late July, maybe more after that due to school and the end of the fiscal year on my job.
June 17 - 10pm-midnight EST (7pm-9pm SLT)
June 18 - 8pm-midnight EST (5pm-9pm SLT)
June 19 - 10pm-11pm EST (7pm-8pm SLT)
June 20 - 7pm-midnight EST (4pm-9pm SLT)
June 21 - 4pm-10pm EST (1pm-7pm SLT)
June 22 - 11am-3pm EST (8am-12pm SLT)
In either case, I will have a strict agenda that is time contingent for everyone and to alleviate bitching matches. I don't think anyone wants to spend their time fussing. Please let me know what times will work best.

Re: Shareholder Meetings
I am available those times on the 17,18, and 19th
To minimise the "bitching" I would suggest that the agenda be published in advance of the meeting.

Re: Shareholder Meetings
That is the plan Scott. The agenda will be posted so that questions can be asked ahead of time and covered in the open forum to remain time contingent.
Re: Shareholder Meetings
Darlings, I can make it any time but prefer something about 8 pm Eastern. Of the dates Scott mentions, the 18th seems best. I have no problem with just using the forums, but I do suspect that others would rather meet face-to-face.

Re: Shareholder Meetings
Understood Anastasia. I actually prefer the forum environment because it is a lot easier to focus and not be lost in scrolling chat but after years in an online program working on my degree, I would say that is what I am used to as time zone becomes a factor in these cases.
Using the forums gives everyone the opportunity to be heard while shareholders meetings in world don't but, as stated, I will only hold one if I can get at least 10 people to commit to come. We have a few thousand people so if 10 people of that don't attend, there would be little need to have one.

Re: Shareholder Meetings
Splendid. In all honesty, I'm volunteering to attend a face-to-face mainly to help meet the quorum that you set. I too like the forum as I prefer composing thoughts rather than be in a large group. (Despite my yummy bluster, I'm actually a wallflower at heart and find it difficult to operate in large groups.)

Awww....well I will find some peat for the wall to keep you comfy.
So right now, it stands at the 18th.

Where is the agenda of the shareholdersmeeting
When do we get agenda of the shareholders meeting, Lindsay?
There are only two days left.

Re: Shareholder Meetings
We haven't gotten a quorum yet to even have the meeting. I will solidify the agenda when we have 10 people committed to attending.
Agenda
I am not going to commit to attend a shareholders meeting if I don't know the agenda. It is ridiculous to ask stakeholders to spend time on "I don't know what". In real life, as you probably know, a corporation with foreign capital is obliged to organise regularly a meeting where the board informs the shareholders about the results.

Re: Shareholder Meetings
It seems that a face-to-face meeting isn't likely to happen given the low number of responses. I would suggest that Lindsay proceed with the discussion within the forum itself. I do think that it would work better for all concerned anyway.

Re: Shareholder Meetings
Otto that is fine but RL is RL and SL is SL. I have to take time from RL to be there so I would rather know who can attend without clearing my calendar to have wasted time when I could have used that time to do other things. A meeting agenda is besides the point. It's a shareholder meeting to inform. That is your agenda. Information. But, Anastasia is right anyway.
Agenda
Lindsay, with your rhetorical remark about "RL = RL and SL = SL" you are evading your responsibility. If there is nothing on the agenda to decide about then your proposed "shareholding meeting" doesn't deserve that name.

Re: Shareholder Meetings
Of course there are things to talk about but if no one is going to show up, why create a specific agenda when the issues are going to be discussed here?
I am not evading anything. I provided my schedule in order to have a shareholder meeting but it seems that the shareholders are not interested in meeting. Is that my fault?
For the most part, everything that would be discussed in the meeting is already being discussed here in the forums or has been discussed in the SL CapEx forums but Scott wanted a shareholder meeting so I obliged by providing my schedule. So far, the gesture is not warranted. I can't make people come to a meeting.

The meeting and the brokerage
Hello
I see no point in a meeting, things can be discussed and decided here. I won't be present, but in case the meeting occurs, I'm giving here, in public, full powers to Lindsay to vote on my behalf on all matters in that meeting.
I think that to list LLC in its own brokerage can hurt the stock. Some people might wait for some time before depositing large amounts of money to buy the share because of the problems in the past. I'm hopping there won't be withdraw limits to new cash deposited or to the money gained from selling shares. To list it in a more known stockexchange would provide more liquidity. I think Slcapex was the best choice and I wonder if that option couldn't be on the table again. I have a good experience with the International Stock Exchange, but it is small and with less liquidity.
regards

Re: Shareholder Meetings
Both meetings will address the same things. There is no need to attend both.
Re: Shareholder Meetings
The second meeting is in the middle of the EST work day.
The last set of meeting times was set almost a month ago, why change it today, the friday before the meetings?
Also, wasn't the Agends supposed to be published before the meetings?
